It's a baby hooded romper for daytime outings and play, not sleepwear. For sleep, choose a sleeper without a hood.
Which size for my 5-month-old?
Pick by length: the 6M option is the 3-6 month size at 20.9 in (53 cm), and 12M is the 6-12 month size at 22.4 in (57 cm). If baby is near the top of a range, size up.
How do diaper changes work without snaps?
Unzip the baby hooded romper from the neckline down to the crotch, slide baby's legs out, then zip back up. We don't promise a two-way zipper.
Is it warm enough for fall or winter?
It's a long-sleeved 95% cotton knit with a hood, meant as a daytime layer rather than winter outerwear. On cold days add a coat over it, and in a car seat follow the car-seat maker's guidance on bulky layers.
Will it shrink in the wash?
The maker's care is machine wash cold and hang dry. It isn't sold as pre-shrunk, so we don't promise it won't shrink.
Is there a flap behind the zipper at the chin?
No zipper guard is shown in the photos, and the zipper runs right up to the neckline. We don't promise a chin guard, so check the fit at the neck when you zip up.
