Get it nowDoes this wooden digital alarm clock plug in or run on batteries?
It plugs in over USB (5V/1A) with the included cable — any phone-charger brick or USB port works; there is no wall adapter in the box. The 4 AAA batteries are backup only and not included; a CR2032 memory battery is included.
Is the display too bright to sleep next to?
Three brightness levels (L1 bright to L3 dimmest), plus a sound-control mode that switches the display off after 10 seconds — clap or tap to light it up.
Why did the display turn off by itself?
Sound-control (power-saving) mode is on. Press Down and choose '-:Sd' to keep the display lit all the time, or 'oN:Sd' to turn the mode back on.
Are the instructions hard to follow?
Setup is a few button holds: hold SET for 3 seconds, then step through year, date, 12/24H, time and the three alarms with Up and Down. A printed manual is included, and the steps above cover the rest.
Does it keep the time if the power goes out?
Yes — a memory function backed by the included CR2032 battery holds your time and alarms through an outage. The display itself needs USB power to stay lit.
Is this an alarm clock with temperature display, and how accurate is it?
Yes — it shows room temperature in °C or °F to within about 1–2 °C. It is a comfort reading for the bedroom, not a lab thermometer.
