Clean and dry both mounting points so the pads meet bare, grease-free surface.

Peel the backing off each pad, press both ends down firmly and leave the bond to set before the first pull.

Slide the button with your thumb, lift the catch clear, and press the strap back against the surface to lock it again.
Wipe the two mounting spots clean and dry before you stick it down.

Get it nowWill it stick to my cabinet finish?
The pads need a smooth, clean, dry surface, so painted wood, laminate and gloss fronts hold best. Heavily textured or grainy doors give the adhesive much less to grip.
Do I need to drill anything?
No — both ends mount on adhesive pads, so there are no screws and no holes in the door or the frame.
Will it reach across my two cabinet doors?
The strap adjusts out to 7.5 in (19 cm) end to end, so measure between the two flat spots you want to stick it to. Anything wider than that needs a different approach.
Can I open it one-handed while I'm holding the baby?
Yes — slide the button with your thumb and lift the catch, and the strap releases in one motion. To lock it again you press it back against the surface.
Does it work on cabinets with no handles?
Yes — both pads stick to flat surfaces rather than to handles, so a pair of handleless doors is fine. It just needs two smooth, clean spots within 7.5 in (19 cm) of each other.
Will it hold under the sink where it's damp?
Damp and cleaning-spray splash are the hardest test for any adhesive lock, so fit it high on the door where it stays driest. Give each one a firm pull once a month and re-fit any that have loosened.
