Pull the knob off
Stove and oven knobs pull straight off the shaft by hand, with no tools involved.

Stick the ring, refit the knob
Peel the pad on the underside of the base ring, press it down around the shaft, then push the knob back on through the opening.

Flip the lid when you cook
Lift the hinged top clear of the dial to turn the burner, then press it shut again afterwards.
The knob pulls off first — the base ring fits underneath it.

The opening is 4 cm (1.57 in) across, the dome is 6 cm (2.36 in) wide and it stands 4 cm (1.57 in) tall, so measure your knob before ordering. It is made for round knobs that pull straight off the shaft.
Do I have to take the knob off to fit it?
Yes — the base ring sits on the panel around the shaft and the knob goes back on through it. That is what keeps the cover down when the adhesive gets tested.
My knobs are lever-shaped, or wider than 4 cm — will this work?
No — it fits round knobs that pull straight off the shaft and pass through the 4 cm (1.57 in) opening, not lever or T-shaped handles. Knobs wider than the opening will not fit, so measure yours first.
Can I still read the settings and see OFF?
The dome is see-through, so you can see the knob and its pointer inside it. Choose clear rather than black if you want the clearest view.
How many do I need — I have five knobs?
One cover per knob you want covered. Black comes in packs of 1, 2, 4 or 8, and Clear in packs of 2, 4 or 8.
Can I open it quickly while I'm cooking?
The top is hinged at the back, so it lifts clear of the knob and presses shut again afterwards. Nothing has to be unstuck or removed between meals.
