It is hardwired — it connects to a wall point rather than a socket, so there is no cord or plug. Plan on an electrician if there is no wiring where you want it.
Which options include the pull chain?
The colours labelled "with switch" add the brass chain and wooden teardrop pull. Choose one of those if you want to switch the light at the fixture rather than at the wall.
Is a bulb included?
That is your choice at checkout: warm white (2700–3500K), cool white (5500–7000K), or "Without bulb" if you already have an E27 bulb.
Can I angle it towards my book?
Yes. The dome pivots where the wood arm meets the shade, so you can point it down at a page or up the wall.
