Both work. The back bed is 4.5 inches deep (12 x 8.5 inches) and the front bed is 3 inches deep — plant directly, or set nursery pots straight in.
Do the wheels actually roll?
Yes — the metal spoke wheels roll, so you can reposition it with the pull handle. It’s a planter first, though — not a hauling wagon.
Will it hold up outdoors?
It’s built from solid fir — a naturally strong outdoor wood — and assembled with anti-rust screws for outdoor use.
Is assembly difficult?
No — the panels, handle and wheels fasten together with the included hardware; one person can manage it.
