Small gives a 26.6in sleeping length and holds 44 lb; Medium gives 30.5in and holds 55 lb. Measure your pet stretched out nose to tail and add a few inches.
Will the legs hold when my dog jumps on?
The legs are solid wood, 3.7in tall and 1.5in across, screwed into the frame. Medium is rated to 55 lb (25 kg) and Small to 44 lb (20 kg).
What happens if there's an accident?
The plush top is waterproof, so liquid beads on the surface rather than soaking down into the cushion. Blot it up and let the surface dry.
Does it need assembly?
Only the legs. They screw into the base with the screws included, and it takes a few minutes.
Does it have a back all the way around?
No — it's a chaise. One end has a raised arm-backrest with a bolster pillow against it, and the rest is open so your pet can stretch out the full length.
What colour is it, really?
A warm ivory / off-white plush — closer to cream than to a strong beige, so it sits quietly next to most sofas.
