The glass body is heat-resistant. Always remove the bamboo lid before microwaving — bamboo and the silicone gasket are not microwave-safe.
How airtight is the seal?
The bamboo lid seals against a silicone gasket to create a genuine airtight closure — ideal for preserving coffee, tea, spices, sugar, flour, and other dry goods for months at a time.
What fits in each size?
The 350ml holds roughly 1 cup — great for spices or loose tea. The 600ml holds about 2.5 cups — ideal for coffee or smaller dry goods. The 1000ml holds about 4 cups — perfect for bulk items like pasta or rice.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Hand washing is recommended to protect the bamboo lid and silicone gasket and maintain a strong seal over time. The glass body can be cleaned with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
Can I store liquids in it?
The canister is designed for dry goods storage. The hermetic seal keeps air out but is not intended to be leak-proof when tipped on its side, so we do not recommend storing liquids.
Will the glass scratch or chip easily?
The heat-resistant glass holds up well to everyday use. Like any glass, avoid knocks against hard surfaces, which can cause chipping.
