It really floats. The electromagnetic base holds the moon in mid-air and rotates it slowly — no strings, no clear stand, no supports.
Is it hard to get the moon floating?
The first time takes a little patience: hold the moon with both hands over the center of the base, feel for the balance point, and let go slowly. The manual walks you through it — after a try or two it takes seconds.
Does it need batteries or charging?
No. The base plugs into the wall with the included adapter, and the moon receives power wirelessly through electromagnetic induction — there is no battery to drain or wear out.
Does it work on any surface?
Place the base on a flat, non-metallic surface — a wood desk, nightstand, or shelf is perfect. Metal surfaces interfere with the magnetic field.
How bright is the light?
It is an atmosphere light — a soft glow for a nightstand, desk, or shelf rather than a room's main light. Touch the base to cycle warm white, white, or yellow.
What happens if the power is switched off?
The levitation is powered by the base, so keep it plugged in while floating. Without power the moon comes to rest on the base — lower it gently by hand before unplugging.
