Get it nowIs it recessed into the wall?
No. The plate mounts flat on the wall surface and screws into place, so there is no hole to cut.
Does it plug in, or does it need wiring?
It hardwires to an existing wall box behind the plate — there is no cord to run down the wall. If there is no box where you want it, an electrician can add one.
Will it wake the person next to me?
The head throws a narrow, focused pool rather than a room-wide wash. Aim it down at the page and the other side of the bed stays dark.
How far does the arm reach, and will it droop?
13.8" straightened (35 cm). The braided metal gooseneck holds whatever curve you bend it into.
Do I need to buy a bulb?
No. The LED is built into the head, so there is nothing to shop for and nothing to swap out.
Can I dim it?
No — it is a single on/off toggle on the plate. If you want the softest light at bedtime, choose the 3000K warm option.
