No — it is thick acrylic. You get the same depth of colour, with nothing brittle sitting on the wall.
Is the metal ring gold or silver?
Silver. The ring is brushed metal — the warm glow through the lens is what makes it look golden in some photos.
What is the difference between Style A and Style B?
Depth only. Style A sits 3.0 inches off the wall and Style B 3.2 inches; both measure 5.3 inches across.
Can I get it in cool white?
No. Every lens colour ships in warm white, which is the softer light for bedsides, hallways and stairs.
How much light does it give off?
It is a small 5W fixture, so it lays down a warm pool of light on the wall rather than lighting a whole room.
Do I need to buy a bulb?
No. The 5W LED is built in behind the lens, so there is nothing to shop for.
How is it powered — is there a cord?
